Tropical Fish Care
It is very easy to keep Tropical fish as a home pet, because it is a cheapest pet and does not require a special care or treatment. However they need special love and health to live long. For this purpose here are some tips and recommendations for home care of Tropical fish.
Always keep in mind that special care of ordinary pets can give them a long and healthy life. It depends on your care how long it lives. You must know about some basic problems and their solutions, like how you can stop developing bad health condition of the new fish? What should be done when your tank is hottest or too much cool? How it can be cleaned? How to breed a Tropical fish? and much more like these.
1. Always keep Test Kit/Huge tank
Before putting your Tropical fish into the water, check the pH level; dissolve oxygen content, temperature, ammonia and nitrate level and salinity of water. Tropical fishes have narrow optimum temperature and they could not usually stand for the sudden change in environment. For this purpose always keep them in largest tank because it contained stable temperature. Moreover Tropical fishes also feel relax in huge tank and remains healthy.
2. Give them place to hide
Try to give them a hiding place. If it is possible then keep a room style part in tank to keep them happier. In this way you will lower the stress of your Tropical fish.
There is no special food for Tropical fish but colorful and variety of food can make your fish happy and healthy. Flakes are the main key element of Tropical’s food. In the same way also avoid to over feed your fish. Instead of giving them one large piece of food, give them two small pieces after a bit time duration. A normal Tropical fish finished one food in one or two minutes. After that time, if you find some pieces of food in bottom of tank, its mean that you have give them extra food. Extra food will give them too much stressed and lazy. It will also make Tropical tank’s water dirty.
4. Keep Away from Sunlight
Always keep fish tank in such a place where sunlight could not reach in tank directly. Direct sunlight can create some major problems in your fish tank, like it may get green algae. Direct sunlight can also increase water temperature and hot water can be harmful the Tropical fish.
5. Tank Management
It is better to change tank’s water about after 10 days. This biological cycle of tank is better for the fish care.
Moreover do not add so many fishes of opposite kind in a one tank. This will create problem while the time of filtration system and many other considerations.
